Here's To Gary

Well, I can't beleive it, I finished, WOW!

Anyway, I'm going to be giving my new MP3 Player to my brother, Gary for his birthday, July 8th. My girls and I already have MP3's and IPOD's, but my brother can't afford to spend his hard earned money on such things, so I did this course for myself to learn more about what's out there and for my brother, Gary. My brother is a hard working individual that makes do with what he has. He doesn't spend his money foolishly or on impulse. Gary is a great guy and brother and we have always been close to each other. When my brother was about 6 years old, he fell from the shoulders of one of my sisters, he almost died. He cracked open the back of his head and had to have surgery. The doctors told my mom that Gary won't be the same high spirted and smart child she had known for those six years, but that he would probably be a little "slow" and may have trouble learning. Gary was the only son at the time among three sister's, so this was very heart felt to our parents. Gary had it a bit rougher than the rest of us and was in special classes to help him learn and some actually thought he was the ideal person to pick on at school. I stood by my brother for everything and tried to help whenever possible. When my mom passed away some years ago the rest of our family thought my brother would never make it on his own.My brother became homeless when I was living in another state and I couldn't reach him, some family members knew, but won't tell me. I just kept calling everyone then I finally found out he was living in a box in a parking lot. I helped him get back on his feet and helped him get an apartment and he got a job. Well, now he is a man and a good one at that and has had a life I won't wish on anyone. He has a full time job and a house and works very hard to keep it. He has actually without knowing it so much, proved those who doubted his abilities...wrong. My brother is a great, wonderful and caring man and is very dear to my daughters and myself and giving him this MP3 after my girls load it with the music he loves doesn't begin to express just how proud of him I am! So "Here's To Gary" the greatest brother ever!
